This *Support Resource* module will consist of a few practices that can help your physical body to release and relax as you do this work inside DLL membership. Each practice is crafted by a professional teacher and is here to guide you through it with love and ease. I recommend you to place an intention before indulging in each practice. Your intention could be to release a specific block or to call in more peace, relaxation, healing, or ease.
Feel free to use any of these practices as a daily ritual or as and when you feel needed doing the membership work.

This is an incredible yin practice to open your hips. Our hips tend to hold a lot of tension and trauma. They also carry root and sacral chakra blockages. Opening your hips movement can support you in releasing stuck and stagnant emotions that you perhaps haven’t even been aware of. Do a little warm-up prior to this if you prefer and take it slow and easy. It’s not about doing the poses but about opening up and accessing these spaces. It’s also okay if this practice brings up tears or emotional release, be gentle and kind. If you feel inspired, follow up with journaling.

A beautiful spiritual practice to transcend your mind and get into your body, this ecstatic intuitive dance practice helps you in opening up to your flow, to your soul and to your inner emotional alchemy. The practice is a whole experience in itself, you are recommended to do the entire piece at least for the first time you do this. Dance, cry, flow, move, release, breathe, feel, remember, let go, envision – move through all shades of alchemizing your emotions in this practice. A short practice to work with opening your heart somatically. If you feel emotions coming up after this, feel free to journal it out. This can be discomforting only because we are not used to having our hearts or chests open this way. Let’s practice vulnerability together! This is a 30 minutes practice of yogic body flow to activate, open and heal your sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is responsible for our aliveness, pleasure, sensuality and abundance. This flow brings focus to your sacral centre, pelvic floor, and womb space and is a wonderful practice when you’re feeling disconnected from life, creativity, abundance – or experiencing PMS symptoms.

In this video, I share with you a bunch of somatic tools to help you channel the release of energy from your body as you do this inner work of shifting your mindset, changing your neural pathways, and healing your heart. Use these tools when you feel triggered, angry, frustrated, upset, or defeated to release these difficult emotions.
One of my favorite practices is to drop into a parasympathetic state of relaxation! This is a great 50mins practice to dive into one of the weekends or on an early morning. Make it even more relaxing by lighting up some candles around you and taking this time just to be with yourself.
This is also a beautiful practice to reach out to when you feel you have been in your mind a lot or you feel overwhelmed and stressed and anxious. The practice works to open up your body, calm down inflammation, melt down resistance and fully relax. As always, don’t push, but feel and experience. You are bound to find yourself in a whole different space post this practice! please note: there is no right or wrong for this asana, they will look different in your body and that’s perfectly fine. just focus on your breath and tune into yourself here. enjoy. 🙂
