WHY ARE YOU NOT TAKING ACTIONS

Here are few reasons to reflect on why you’re perhaps not taking actions:

Fears and Threats

You feel paralyzed with fears and threats. While most of us say, fears are not real, your nervous system sees it as very much a reality. You are constantly overwhelmed. Your nervous system often drifts into fight and flight mode or freeze mode because there’s big potential dangers out there for it to take any aligned action. The only thing you are focused on is protection + safety. And so, you will avoid any action that threatens your safety.

UNDERLYING TRAUMA

Following up from the previous points, these potential dangers could be fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, past life fears of persecution, fear of childhood trauma repeating – but to your nervous system it is as dangerous as a tiger attacking you. Living with traumas can be exhausting and draining as *taking actions* or simply its idea can trigger your traumas. When our traumas are triggered, the body shuts down, releases endorphins for fight and flight, or is simply reliving and processing old traumas all over again – all of which can really be draining leaving you with zero energy or inspiration to act.

OPPORTUNITY COST

UNABALANCED LOWER CHAKRAS

Our lower chakras are responsible for forward momentum and action in grounded reality. When we have energy flow blocked in our lower chakras – the solar plexus chakra, the sacral chakra, the root chakra – we are unable to take actions on our ideas + dreams. We stay stuck. And if we stay stuck longer, we will start experiencing physical symptoms of this stuck energy. The energy needs release. FOCUSSING ON PROBLEMS

How resourceful and solution-oriented is your perspective? However, if you shift your focus slightly through internal & external resourcing, you might actually start spotting more opportunities, diverse solutions, help, and support to get into a space of acting on those precious ideas.
